• Motivation to learn about the produce, beer, wine, and grocery industries at large. Before securing a regular full or part time position on the team, there are a series of product knowledge and service related tests that must be passed. It's paramount to the store's success that our staff is motivated to learn more, try harder, and share our passion to become the best.
• Team Player Mindset - In a busy retail environment with thousands of products, there are going to be times when the scope of your position will have to evolve into something you or we may not have been planning or expecting. We need people who are willing to step up, be flexible, work together, and ultimately share our vision to provide the best experience for our customers. Cross functional training will be essential for most positions as we are a small company, and wearing many hats is guaranteed to be a part of the job.
• Availability and Flexibility - Our busiest times are on the weekends and at night...please take this into consideration before submitting your resume. We also need people who are willing to work extended and holiday hours during those times of the year when stores like ours have to stay open so that our customers have what they need to make their holidays memorable.
• Have Fun - Work is work...bottom line. But we do our absolute best to make sure that we have a little fun, too! Our break room doesn't consist of the traditional plastic chairs and folding tables you might expect to see. We have a flat screen HDTV, some couches, and a full kitchen for our team to relax during their breaks.
